The 10 / 12 year battery replacement service for Vigil II, Vigil 2+ and Vigil Cuatro. Due to unpredictable lead times from Vigil, we have temporarily suspended our handling of services and battery replacements, however these can be booked direct from Vigil (or possibly via other UK dealers)

We can usually book collections for the next working day for orders placed by 3pm, but this may not always be possible. Service Using the cheaper standard service, we will combine your unit with other incoming or outgoing units for shipping to reduce costs. Using the express service, we will ship your unit to Belgium as soon as we receive it, and it will be shipped back as soon as it is ready. The express service is typically about 2-3 weeks quicker than the standard service.

Vigil boast a guaranteed battery warranty of 5 years (or 2000 jumps) with a battery lifespan of up to 12 years; however, when the bat low indicator appears it's time for a battery change!

Units with DOM Sept/2018 and earlier have a battery life of 10 years max. Vigil units with a DOM of Oct/2018 and later have a battery life of 8-12 years, see addendum: https://www.vigil.aero/wp-content/uploads/Addendum_20181108.pdf

Due to transportation restrictions introduced in February 2017, Vigil batteries can no longer be shipped separately to the Vigil units and must be replaced at the factory.

We will endeavour to give you our best estimate of the time until your unit will be returned, however please note that this will vary seasonally. If you need to keep your rig online, consider a rental unit.
