Shipping & Returns


Where we deliver:

We currently deliver within the UK and EU. We can ship certain items outside the EU, please contact us for more information.

How we send items:

Most orders will be sent via Royal Mail First Class delivery, with orders over £250 usually tracked and requiring a signature on delivery. All orders are fully insured until delivered, and you will receive an automated email once your order has been dispatched.

Dispatch dates:

We aim to dispatch items in stock within 5 working days of your order being placed. In 2018 our average dispatch was 1-2 days.

Items that are not in stock or are custom orders are subject to longer lead times. It will usually state on a product page what the estimated lead time is, however, if you are unsure, or it asks you to contact us before purchasing, please email us.

All dates provided are estimates, and refunds are not avialable for late deliveries, except where a date has been agreed in writing before ordering.


To avoid shipping costs for large items you may opt to "collect in store" during the checkout process which will remove the shipping fees. Items may be collected from our stores at Dunkeswell or Headcorn during our normal opening hours. You will receive an email notification when your order has been processed ready for collection - for some items this may take several days depending on whether the selected store has stock at the time of placing the order.


Returns on stock orders can be made through our online returns system, or by contacting us by email. Naturally returned stock should be in unused condition, except where returned because of a fault.

Returns or refunds cannot be made on custom orders (custom orders include made to order products, or products not held in stock in the UK which we order in from abroad specifically to fulfil your order).


We will always attempt to package your order up in the most efficient way that protects the goods inside and minimises shipping cost and carbon footprint.

We are working towards using as much recycled and recyclable packaging as possible for our products, and we encourage our customers to re-use or recycle received packaging.

We offer an option on checkout where you may opt to "minimise single use plastic". If you select this option, we may re-package some items into more sustainable packaging if we are then able to re-use the plastic packaging that the items are shipped to us in. Currently this is only applicable for gloves, but we plan to implement this across other products in the near future. We will also use this information anonymously to determine customer demand for more eco friendly packaging from our suppliers.
