10 minutes of tunnel time at iFly Basingstoke with coaching from Jack Bradford (BPA FS Coach, IBA Belly Fly and Formation Competition Coach) and / or David Sawyer (former Bodyflight Tunnel Instructor). Please contact us or check our Facebook page events for details of coaching available if you require 2on2 FS or freefly coaching.
- All events: Category System ("RAPS"), AFF, FS1, 1on1 advanced FS, 4 way.
- Specific events: Back fly, sit fly, head down, 2on2 FS
Flight times may be booked at any time during the period you select and with any available and appropriately qualified coach. If you require a specific flight timing or a specific coach, please contact us before booking. We advise you not to book more than half of the remaining slots in any block without contacting us first as the slots may be split between 2 coaches and overlap in a way that does not allow you to fly them (we will contact you to re-arrange if you inadvertently make such a booking).
Bookings close a week before the flight date.
You are asked to arrive 1 hour before your flight time; this is to allow you adequate time to be briefed and to allow for delays. Bookings cannot be refunded if you arrive too late to fly.
If you haven't flown in an Airkix tunnel before then you may be charged a £10 cash fee on arrival for a first time flyer brief. When you arrive, sign the waiver at the self-serve terminals then go to the desk to sign. Once you've signed in make your way upstairs and go through the door to the left of the tunnel. We will be based in one of the 3 "team rooms"- look out for the XD logo.
Each 10 minute block booked will usually be flown over a 30 minute session, with flights of around 1m 40s to 2m and short breaks in between flights. Please note that the Airkix policy for pro fliers (including anyone booking here) is that the 10 minute tunnel reservation includes a small amount of non-flying time for entering and exiting the chamber. This means that each flight may be reduced by up to 5 seconds and so the total time flown may be reduced up to 30 seconds for every 10 minute flight.
