These questions are provided as a quick reference. Please check our full terms and conditions before committing to a rental.
Do you have any units curently available for rental?
Use the options on this page to check current availability of units for rental by selecting the unit you would like and checking the availability shown. If you are able to put down the deposit then this will usually mean we have a unit in stock.
How much does it cost?
Prices vary depending on the brand of unit you are renting (Vigil or Cypres) and how long you have already rented for. Prices decrease each year and you only pay for the first 9 months in every year; the last 3 months are free! For full pricing, see the pricing tab.
Can you send my unit back for service?
Yes, we are also able to handle Cypres and Vigil servicing. For Cypres services, see the Cypres Service page. For Vigil servicing, please contact us.
Do you rent outside the UK?
Unfortunately we currently require all rental customers to be permenantly resident in the UK and be a full member of the BPA.
I have a voucher for a rental; how do I redeem it?
Please contact us to redeem vouchers for rentals.
Can I purchase the unit once I have finished renting?
Absolutely! We even deduct 20% of the fees you have paid in rental from the current value of the unit.
How do I pay for my rental?
Once you have placed your deposit we will contact you with a link to set up a Direct Debit which will automatically take payment from your bank account each month on the anniversary date of your rental (usually the day of the month you started the rental). You will be sent an invoice with the payment amount and date at least 10 days before payment is taken, so no nasty surprises!
Can I pay for a period up front?
Currently we only offer up-front payments as part of rig bundles. The Direct Debit must still be set up at the commencement of the rental and will begin once any paid up period has ended.
How do I cancel my rental?
Cancelling is as easy as sending us an email and returning the unit to us. No refunds can be offered for the current paid period, however we will immediately cancel any further payments for future rental periods. If you are able to give us 1 month or more notice of cancellation, we can usually apply a small discount to the final rental payment.
What happens if the unit I'm renting has an issue or needs servicing?
For planned maintenance (Cypres servicing, battery replacements) we will send you a replacement unit to be swapped into your rig by your rigger at some point in the month(s) leading up to the service date. For any unplanned maintenance (e.g. if your unit fails the self test when you turn it on), get in touch and we will get a replacement unit sent out to you as quickly as possible.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is £11 and will be sent to you fully insured. Of course you can always select the "skydiver-post" option on checkout if you are able to collect the unit from us at Dunekswell or have someone collect it on your behalf.
It is the responsibility of the hirer to return the unit to us in good condition and we strongly recommend return via a fully insured method such as Royal Mail Special Delivery.
